[REVIEW] Etude House Rosy Tint Lips - #7 Tea Rose

Hello~! Today’s review is the first in a long line of lipstick reviews I’ll be putting out.. I’ll try and switch it up and not do lipsticks every time it’s my turn, but… I’m a lipstick junkie, and I’m constantly trying out different colors or brands so I thought it’d be nice to post my thoughts on some of the ones I’ve bought.

So, without further ado, my review for today is on Etude House’s Rosy Tint Lips in #7 Tea Rose! It’s always trendy to wear darker or more muted colors in fall and winter, but I wear whatever color I really feel like wearing, no matter what time of year it is, haha. Pink is always a cute and fresh color, and I love trying out different shades of it, but sometimes it’s disheartening for me when, while it looked ridiculously cute on the paler model, it became a bit too light/pale/cool on me. And sometimes, a color will look completely fine on me when I’m wearing a full face of makeup, but when I don’t have on anything besides the lip color it looks incomplete or just a smidgen out of place.

[REVIEW] Rilakkuma x A'PIEU Collaboration Water Light Tint, PK01 Cherry Blossom

Well, howdy y'all!
I apologize for being absent last time around and just kind of all over the place in general. Between work and cons, life has been hectic. It still kind of is, but I'm getting my priorities straight.
We've also decided to switch our posting days from Sunday to Saturday to see if that works better with our schedules.

But I'm back now to the blogging game! And with more Rilakkuma. ♥ Because you can never have too much of this bear in your life.
That's right. This week we have my new favorite lip tint of all times: Rilakkuma x A'PIEU Collaboration Water Light Tint in the color PK01 Cherry Blossom.
I bought this along with the eyeshadow palette I reviewed in my last post and a blush (guess what my next post will be? Oh yes. )

[REVIEW] Mizon Recovery Snail Gel Cream

Hello! Sorry for the unexpected hiatus. Vic went to a con last weekend and I was swamped with homework the week before. I’m also going to NYCC tomorrow so I’m posting this today instead of passing out on Saturday without posting. Anyway, this week’s review is on Mizon’s Snail Recovery Gel Cream! They describe it as a ‘lightweight snail gel cream containing 74% snail secretion filtrate.’ I actually used this product sort of religiously in sophomore or junior year in high school, and just got back to using it again because I got tired of buying Benton’s snail bee venom essence, which was a lot more expensive than this, when I remembered it and the Mizon gel working pretty similarly.

[REVIEW] Rilakkuma x A'PIEU Collaboration For Your Shadow Palette, No. 1 How To Some

Rilakkuma x A'PIEU limited edition eyeshadow palette

Sorry for another late post! Last week was rough for me with moving and work.;; Don't try to rush everything, guys. Take it easy, don't stress.

This weeks fun fact: I love Rilakkuma. I love SAN-X characters in general, but I especially love Rilakkuma. So when I heard that, along with all the Minions and LINE Mascot makeup series, A'PIEU had also released a Rilakkuma set, I was on it. I had to get at least a couple of items from the series!
So I took a friend's advice and purchased them from ibuybeauti.com. I ended up getting carried away and doing a big haul, so I'll have plenty of things to review in the future!

The product I've chosen to review first is the one I was most excited about- Rilakkuma x A'PIEU Collaboration For Your Shadow palette No. 1 How To Some.

[REVIEW] Holika Holika Jewel Light Waterproof Eyeliner - Pink Topaz and 18k Gold

Today’s review is on Holika Holika’s Jewel Light Waterproof Eyeliner! I bought the colors 08 Pink Topaz (핑크 토파즈) and 09 18k Gold (18k 골드).

Originally, when I went into the Holika Holika store I bought them in, I didn’t expect to pick up anything; these colors were so pretty, however, that I just couldn’t leave without them, haha. (Windowshopping is the worst idea if you’re trying not to buy anything, because you’re bound to find something you want.)

[REVIEW] Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner BK802

Happy Sunday! I'm actually quite late with this. I have no excuse; this is procrastination at its best.
Anyway, Today I'd like to present the CUTEST cream liner from the CUTEST brand.
Here we have Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner in shade #BK802, a quick-drying, creamy formula liner that comes with a handy dandy brush. There's 3 other shades, but I've only seen BK801 (brown) being sold.

I'm pretty sure this actually makes three Etude House product reviews we've done in a row. I think our bias is showing a little, oops.

[REVIEW] Etude House Eyeshadows - Look At My Eyes: Bling Me Prism, Cafe, and Monkey Wish Eyes

Hello! Today's review is on 7 eyeshadows I purchased from the various Etude House eyeshadow lines! I ordered from the Look At My Eyes Summer & Fall collections as well as the Cafe, Bling Me Prism, and Monkey Wish sets!

From the summer colors, I bought RD301 Jungle Red; the fall, RD303 Strawberry Buffet and PP505 Purple Brown; the cafe line, PP501 Sweet Potato Latte and PK004 Deep Berry Soda; the prism line, OR213 Suede Tassel; and the monkey wish line, PP508 Class is Cancelled-mong! (The mong part of its name comes from the sound monkeys make.)

[REVIEW] Etude House Zero Sebum Drying Powder

Etude House Zero Sebum Drying Powder packaging review

I struggle with a lot of sebum production on my T-Zone. A lot. My forehead is an oil slick. Most drug-store setting powders in the past have broken me out and done nothing for keeping the oil at bay or my makeup on my face.  Because of that, I started searching for a setting powder specifically for oily faces.

Today we have Etude House Zero Sebum Drying Powder. This powder claims to be a mineral powder that dries up sebum without being greasy, dry, or flaky. I was torn between this and innisfree's No Sebum Mineral Powder.
They had equally good reviews, but what won me over on Zero Sebum Drying Powder was simple.

[REIVEW] Lockshop Wigs

Lockshop Wigs Pink Purple Mix Brown white cream mermaid mix

Hello! Today’s review is on two wigs I ordered from Lockshop Wigs back in 2015. (Unfortunately, I don’t think either of these specific wigs are available for purchase anymore. I'm pretty sure the brown one is from the Mermaid series, however.) Lockshop Wigs is a European based wig company that recently added a state side branch, allowing customers in the United States to order and receive their wigs quicker than it would’ve taken back when they were only based in Europe!

[REVIEW] innisfree Eco Lasting Liquid Eyeliner

Innisfree liquid liner review

Today we have a product I actually bought as a gift for my roommate back in May. The innisfree Eco Lasting Eyeliner is a quick dry, black liner featuring a soft, sponge tip that is supposed to make getting sleek and precise lines easier for eyeliner beginners. It also contains Green Tea Extract which is supposed to cause less irritation and safer for sensitive eyes.
I picked it out when I was searching for a liquid liner that was going to be fairly inexpensive- so when my roommate ran out of it, she could easily repurchase it. But also that was still of good quality and didn't perform like it was cheap.

Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel

Nature Republic’s Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel is the brand’s best selling item, and has sold about 1.50 million. It comes in a jar with 300ml (10.56oz) of product, and claims to relax all sensitive, reddish, or dried parts of the body. It can be used safely on both the face and body, and even on the nails or in the hair, and is moisturizing and rich in vitamins. It claims to have a paraben-, mineral oil-, and artifical color-free formula and is safe to use on all skin types.

[REVIEW] Faux Thigh High Cat Tights

Hello everyone! Today marks the day of Minty Castle's opening. ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Our first review is on Cat Tights! Who doesn't know what cat tights are by now, honestly? They're super cute and have been trending since around the summer of 2014.

Cat Tights Stock Image

We both purchased our tights from eBay, and they took around two weeks to get from China to the US.

Cat Tights Packaging
Very cute packaging! It got a little crinkled in the shipping process.
