[REVIEW] Rilakkuma x A'PIEU Collaboration Water Light Tint, PK01 Cherry Blossom

Well, howdy y'all!
I apologize for being absent last time around and just kind of all over the place in general. Between work and cons, life has been hectic. It still kind of is, but I'm getting my priorities straight.
We've also decided to switch our posting days from Sunday to Saturday to see if that works better with our schedules.

But I'm back now to the blogging game! And with more Rilakkuma. ♥ Because you can never have too much of this bear in your life.
That's right. This week we have my new favorite lip tint of all times: Rilakkuma x A'PIEU Collaboration Water Light Tint in the color PK01 Cherry Blossom.
I bought this along with the eyeshadow palette I reviewed in my last post and a blush (guess what my next post will be? Oh yes. )

Packaging feat. Rilakkuma doing a variety of things, like eating, napping. Y'know, typical mascot bear things.
I really want to point out how cute the packaging is, but I've done this in literally every post. I think you guys get the idea; I don't buy makeup that's not cute. I'm superficial. Whatever.

It features your typical lip tint applicator: A fuzzy, flat, angled wand dyed pink from sitting in the bottle. It works really well in terms of getting plenty of product and spreading it. It makes it easy for applying it all over the lips or just doing gradient- Not that it matters, everyone just uses their finger to do blend gradient lips.
But you can get nice, clean lines with this.

The big thing that surprised me about this is when I applied it.
When I first put it on, it was SUPER pigmented and bright and I was really concerned. Did I buy the wrong color? Was the color in the pictures off that much?
I tried to get a picture of this stage, but my camera didn't want to pick up the color well. Just imagine a bright red-y pink.

After I had a moment of mini-panic, I looked at the color again in the mirror and noticed it got a couple shades darker.

Again, I'm really confused. But I'm like, okay, maybe I need to give it more time.
So I did.
And hallelujah, there was the color I bought!

It is a beautiful, rose-y pink. It is everything I wanted in a pink lip product. It compliments my skin tone well- it's not too light, not too dark. Not too bright, not too dull. Could they have gotten this color any more right?
I do think this would be a good "neutral" pink for skin tones darker than mine still, but with just a little bit of a pop.

I wear this almost every day to work. It's very moisturizing and doesn't leave my lips looking dry and chapped like a lot of lip tints do. It does leave lipstick marks on my coffee cups, but it could definitely be worse. I expect this from anything with a shiny finish.
(Speaking of shiny finish, it looks really cute with a gloss over it!)
It also blends well with other colors. I use it with my really watery lip tints that tend to be really drying for a red to pink gradient, and it looks lovely! And helps to counteract the drying effect of the water tints.

I would say the wear is 5-6 hours? That's pretty good for me! I usually reapply it after lunch.

Overall, I'm giving this a 5/5! It has become a staple in my makeup

Pros
☆ Pigmented.
☆ Moisturizing but isn't tacky feeling.
☆ The wand makes application process smooth as could be.
☆ Great for gradient lips!
☆ It's Rilakkuma.
☆ No smell.

Cons
☆ It does taste kind of weird, but that goes away after a minute or two.

I am so going to repurchase this in other colors. Last I checked, they still had it some colors in stock!
They, being of course, ibuybeauti.com.

That's all for this post. Look forward to Hina's post next week! I wonder what it'll be? ✧・゚: *
