Today’s review is on Holika Holika’s Jewel Light Waterproof Eyeliner! I bought the colors 08 Pink Topaz (핑크 토파즈) and 09 18k Gold (18k 골드).
Originally, when I went into the Holika Holika store I bought them in, I didn’t expect to pick up anything; these colors were so pretty, however, that I just couldn’t leave without them, haha. (Windowshopping is the worst idea if you’re trying not to buy anything, because you’re bound to find something you want.)
Pink Topaz markets itself as being...well...pink. In the store lighting I could see hints of that pink, but it’s really just the undertone. It’s mainly a nice, sparkly white color, and I’m actually glad it’s more white than pink because that makes it much more wearable and neutral on my highly warm-toned skin. I mainly wear this one on the corners and inner portion of my eyes, though it’s also very pretty all over the lid.
19k Gold is a very pretty gold color that I love putting all over the lid or in the corners of my eyes. It gives me that real feeling of gold, for lack of a better word, and I really like the color choice they went with. It’s not garish or cheap looking, isn’t a cool based yellow, and just looks really flattering. I imagine it’d look good on all skintones!
I’ve worn this almost everyday since buying it, because I just love the effect that it gives so much. On the inner corners, it almost looks as if it extends your waterline and makes you look wide awake! On darker skintones it gives a really nice highlighted effect and is definitely an attention-grabbing item.

The staying power of these eyeliners is no joke, honestly! Despite the fact that it goes on smoothly, and has an almost creamy texture, it stays put once it’s on there. You have to either scratch/rub or use makeup remover because water alone isn’t going to get rid of it (Which is a good thing since it’s supposed to be waterproof). I ran my hand under warm water for a full minute and it didn’t budge. I’ve found that if I rub my eyes really hard, it’ll come off, but if i just rub it once in a while during the day, it doesn’t move. I actually watched this on my friend, and after she left, she texted me just to say the eyeliners were really water- and smudge- proof!
Overall, I'd give this one a 5/5!
Pros
☆Very Affordable.
☆ Pigmented.
☆ Variety of colors to choose from.

☆ Great staying power.
☆ Smudge- and water- proof.
☆ Long lasting! I've worn this from 8am to 9pm without any problems.
☆ Able to be sharpened when the tip gets low. (I've heard that some of the eyeliner can get stuck in the sharpener while sharpening it, but others have said they have no problems.)
I would definitely repurchase this because of how cheap it is—I think it only cost $7 for one of them, and it seems like it's even cheaper online!
You can purchase this online on ebay, and it seems like f2plus1 is selling a variety of their colors! You can find 18k gold here and pink topaz here!
